The Cgfigures Asset Library

by CGFigures in Models

How are the studio and individual versions different?

The free, individual, and studio versions are all identical. They give everyone access to the library while giving the opportunity to support me and the Blender Development Fund for those who are able.

Can you add X to this library?

I welcome suggestions for additions to the library. I do have a long list of content for future updates.

Is anything in this library generated using AI?

No. Nothing was generated using AI and nothing was based on AI tools. If anything of that nature ever makes it into the library it will be as a research tool for visualizing data processing. The library will never contain or make use of any scraped images, video, or audio.

Are the models scientifically accurate?
Many of the models are real-world scale and were modeled using real lab equipment as reference (eg. the chemistry glassware). Any simplified models of chemical structures are schematics as many cannot be visualized in ways meaningful to the human eye. These are not representations of data they are schematic and simplified diagrams.
Can I use this in published scientific work?

Yes! All of the assets contained in this library were assigned to the public domain by me or by their creators (cork texture from Lennart Demes of ambientcg.com). You can use this in any published figure/journal cover/scientific publication
