Doesn't really work for a simple low polygon object. It messes up the textures. Some parts are completely black, repeating textures are ruined.

I'm sorry that you have been unable to use SimpleBake - the add-on is designed to be simple to use but does require some basic Blender baking knowledge. There are also a number of support pages available to troubleshoot problems people frequently encounter when they are new to baking which maybe helpful:
      http://www.toohey.co.uk/SimpleBake/support/common_baking_issues.html
      https://blendermarket.com/products/simplebake---simple-pbr-and-other-baking-in-blender-2/faq

If the add-on is not suitable for your needs then please get in touch and a refund will be provided.

So far the best baking tool I've used inside Blender; lots of good features, straightforward to use, and not buggy. Saving & loading bake destination folder in the settings is also a great QOL feature, so baking lots of objects is very streamlined.

It's an absolute lifesaver. Blender's built-in baking system isn't worth fiddling with, and Simplebake makes all kinds of batch baking on multiple objects a breeze.

What a time saver! This add-on should be included directly in Blender. I was trying to figure out how to bake textures and creating atlases last week. It's quite tedious in Blender. And if you don't have the tutorials of the awesome community you'd be lost. However I got it and I understand it now, but I also think why this isn't simpler. There's way too many things to be considered to make a simple bake. And when it's multiple objects, the steps are getting even more complicated. One of the tutorials I followed mentioned Simplebake. So I gave it a try.

And I have to say this add-on is most impressive. Blender works internally in a way that if you need to bake a texture atlas you have to start with selecting Cycles (not Eevee), having to click objects and the texture in the shader graph that was copied to other materials and so on and this is why I especially value and appreciate the effort of the developer to make this task very easy, fast and flexible. Highly recommended!

This addon is simply amazing. Even baking textures of multiple slots AND multiple objects to the same textures is easy and fast! Thanks a lot for creating this great time saver!

Overall very good, makes the process of baking very easy but there is a major problem with the channel packing feature.

The greyscale images which are used for various channels, i.e metalness, roughness etc are all being saved as RGBA images, which makes the channel packing feature a waste of time, because when channel packing the whole point is to combine black and white images in different channels (these are only supposed to have a single channel), so whatever game engine is being used can the seperate them, but all channels are already being used because they are RGBA and not black and white hence when a game engine tries to seperate the channels, they are not accurate, as the greyscale image is being comprised of all 3 channels already.

Its easy enough to work around, I can just make sure the images in question are not deleted by the app and resave as black and white right there in blender, there is an option in the save dialogue, then manually pack them in gimp, but this negates the whole point of the feature.

So if you want to channel pack, I would look else where, I have asked a question to the developer, but so far no response on this issue.

If your not using channel packing however then I have not encountered any other problems as of yet.

    Thanks

It certainly makes texture baking life much easier. Bakes multiple textures at the same time, worth the money for sure.

This is unbelievably good. Flawless, more than you ever asked for baking.

One of the best baking tools for Blender! Very stable, feature rich and simple to understand. I bought it just when it came out and now, years later, with updates it has become even better!
