1. Introduction
RealPuddle Pro 2 is a powerful Blender addon that allows you to easily add realistic water puddles to your 3D scenes. With just a few clicks, you can transform any texture set into a stunning wet surface masterpiece. This addon utilizes a custom Node-Group to create the water effects, making it flexible and customizable to suit your specific needs.
2. Installation
2.1. Download the RealPuddle Pro 2 addon file.2.2. Open Blender and navigate to Edit > Preferences > Add-ons.
2.3. Click on the "Install" button and locate the downloaded addon file.
2.4. Enable the addon by checking the checkbox next to "Node: RealPuddle Pro 2_2".
2.5. Save the preferences to ensure the addon remains active.
3. Usage
3.1. Open your 3D scene in Blender and select the object you want to apply the water puddles to.3.2. In the Shader Editor, click on the "Puddle" button located in the header.
3.3. The RealPuddle Pro Node-Group will be automatically added to your material and connected to the existing nodes.
3.4. Adjust the settings of the RealPuddle Pro Node-Group to customize the water puddle effect: - Color: Connect your color or albedo texture to this input. - Specular: Connect your specular or glossy texture to this input. - Roughness: Connect your roughness texture to this input. - Normal: Connect your normal map texture to this input. - Height: Connect your height or displacement texture to this input. - Scale Displ: Adjust the scale of the displacement effect. - Midlevel Displ: Adjust the midlevel of the displacement effect.
3.5. The water puddle effect will be applied to your object in real-time, allowing you to preview the results instantly.
4. Compatibility
RealPuddle Pro 2 is compatible with Blender 3.6.0 and above. It has been tested and optimized to work seamlessly with the Principled BSDF shader and custom node groups.
