  In my experience if your model has a multi resolution modifier it will throw out the modifier. i lost a ton of work this way. I wrote to the developer here to ask for help, assuming I must be doing something wrong and got no response. I don't like leaving a negative review. I really want the addon to work.

  There's no secret behind it, nor is there any clever workaround. It simply involves applying your average weight transfer operator with the 'Layer Select NAME' option instead of 'ALL'. This is a minor tweak that not many people recognize, but it can lead to slight improvements. However, it's important to note that there can be downsides, such as jagged weight paintings in some cases, for example.

  Work pretty well ! Export to UE or Unity works good too, you still have to retouch some part, but the addon work really god and save you so much time
