Eevee Ready Glass "Physical" Material

Transmission Materials in Eevee lack a lot of features that don't work well as they do cycles, like true transmission (for obvious reasons).

This Material make use of a good deal of tinkering, faking and shading mixing to get a realistic looking ready to go glass material with a good set of features:

  • IOR.
  • Chromatic Aberration.
  • Surface Roughness.
  • Transmission Roughness.
  • Emission.


Includes three presets, Glass, Bubbles, and Jelly.


(Don't forget to turn on Refraction in render settings)


Just add the blender file to your asset library path, or directly append the material into your project.
