  I'm sorry that your having issues with the addon. There seems to be a problem, either with the blender version or the object you're trying to use the addon on. The Addon should work also with imported meshes or new designed objects. I used this addon quite often at my daily job as design-modeler in the automotive industry and it worked on all sorts of mesh objects. Feel free to write me a message on blendermarket and we can sort it out.
  (btw: If you're facing issues with an addon or another product here blendermarket from any creator, it's best if you reach out to them via the message option instead of just giving a super bad rating, as your problem might be resolved really quickly)

  Nice addon and wuite helpful. Sometimes the nodegroup is not assigned to all materials and sometimes it doesn't get removed resulting in the section plane staying in the scene. Maybe you could look into that and fix it. But the core function itself is really nice
