Location

Whale sharks tend to like warmer areas and are found in tropical waters all over the world

Fun Facts

It is thought that Whale Sharks may have a lifespan of 100-150 Years

 A Whale Shark's mouth is located at the front of their head. as opposed to the underside of the head like most Sharks

It is Thought that less than 10% of Whale Sharks born survive to adulthood. Upon giving birth, The mother Shark leaves her young to fend for themselves

Conservation Status: Endangered
