Really good looking bird for a cheap price! Definietly usable in some shots, great as a background element.
I have a few problems withe the rig as its missing an IK/FK switch and is higly automated, which compromises some controll (like the automatic wing folding).
Other than that its a great product and nicely looking model.

Breathtakingly beautiful. Not just an amazing model, beautifully rendered but a great way to understand how birds fly. It's going to form a major part of my new title card and this is far better than I could have expected for the price. I'm blown away.

Very impressive work, both in the rig and the model! Lots of potential uses, the quality allows for close up or duplicated into a flock at a distance, perfect for those ubiquitous VFX background shots! :D Surprisingly versatile too, different bird species can be created from the main model without too much trouble. Author is highly responsive which is easy to see from the previous ratings here, but also generally e.g. social media links. Highly recommended.

I was desperately looking for a rigged bird until I found this gem. I've seen other models which cost twice the price, and which aren't even half usable than this one. It's worth every penny : very practical to animate, easily customizable with no timeconsumer in the process ; it allows to focus only on creativity. Really, thank you Mr Landry for sharing this kind of stuff !

Looks And works amazing! Been looking through the rig, trying to figure out how you got the wings to behave. As well and looking at the feathers and how you have set them up. Any chance of a tutorial in the future, or at least point me in the right direction.
This is worth every penny, I looks as good as it does in the previews!

Thank you Macey for the awesome review! I am really happy that you like my crow and rig! I haven't seen any tutorial on something like this (had to figure it out on my own)!

I am however working on a a few courses that will be sold here on BM:
      - First is a beginner course making a peacock spider in a marco shot environment (branches & leafs since its a 3 to 5mm long creature) with rig & animations aimed at beginner to intermediate organic.
      - Second I plan on doing a Gryphon creature course as well targeted at more intermediate to advanced rigging and animations which will cover wings and feather setup as well.
      - Third, It will be an anatomical rigging of another creature that I haven't decided yet, but it will be basically about making a simulation based muscle system with skeleton, muscles, veins, fashia, fat and skin with tension and wrinkle maps, this will be aimed at advance to pro rigging and using re-targeted motion capture on creatures.

I'd say my first BM course is about 35% done, I think it'll be done by end of march or so. Then I'll start on my second one (the one that will cover what you want to know). So hopefully I'll have the second course finished by end of May or so.

Again, thank you for your awesome review! I just woke up and you already made my day :) Now all my products have only 5 stars! That is awesome to me! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!! :)
