Great glass! But can you help me? It lets through not enough light. Almost nothing How can i fix it? Thanks!

      Thanks for your rating, sure.
Without knowing your settings I would guess you need to increase the caustic amount. Also try to play around with the caustic contrast slider.
Please send me a message and we will fix the problem. Also I can offer you to send me the file, this will speed up the process a lot (but don't forget to pack all files into the blend if you use textures).

      Best wishes,
      Colin

I'm completely new to working in 3D and after struggling to get any decent results after hours of tutorials I found this shader. It instantly improved the results, and after some trial and error I was able to get some amazing lighting effects with glass objects. I'm really looking forward to playing around with it more in future projects.

In a side by side comparison with the default Glass BSDF, this shader proves to be worth it. Complicated models show larger differences than simple, flat ones. The only improvement that I can see is to reduce the extraneous node groups that get appended (NodeGroup.001, etc.).

Thats a great hint, I will fix this the next days thank you.
I created them just to keep and overview while working on the shader.

      Greetings
      Colin
