 1. Ultimate Gun - main custom node group to create perfect gun texture. Consist of dust, scratches and oil maps - all in one node group. Also shows the way how to connect custom grip node to normal map.
 2. Ultimate Gun Camo - custom gun shader with special camo texture.
 3. Ultimate Gun Open - full node tree from gun node for advanced customization.

Why procedural shader textures instead of regular PBR maps?

  • Infinite resolution. Textures that you normally use are always limited by their resolution and in close they are just mess of pixels.
  • Endless possibilities for customization! Change any settings, apply to any vector coordinates and even mix with other shaders using mask outputs.
  • And if you worry about render time then remember that you always can bake your customized texture.
