  Some time ago I buyed this addon because supposedly it was a great one, and it did not work at all in linux, not that it had some bug or things like that, no, the addon simply didn't work at all, it didn't start. So it seems that the author didn't test this addon on a linux environment, and I think this is very rude for linux users, we are paying the same price, so we deserve respect and products that work. As you can imagine I asked a refund, Blender Market Creator & Customer Support, replied to me telling that I have to contact the creator, so I did it, I tell the creator the problem with the addon, and that I was in a hurry, so I was forced to buy another texturing tool, so I asking him to reach BM support to autorize my refund, and days later I received an email from BM support telling that I did not reach the creator, which was entirely false, and telling me that she (BM support) deleted my previous review, in that review I wrote that the product did not work on linux, I do not know if by this time the addon works on linux or not. Here there are three very critical situations:
  1) Blender Market is selling products that does not work.
  2) They do not want to refund your money
  3) They are deleting your reviews so other people does know about the unreliability of addons they are selling.
  So this is not just about an addon that does not work, is about that and about BM support, or better said, lack of support, I hope that they don't delete this review, but some people doesn't accept criticism, even this criticism is fair and 100% true.

  This is a truly impressive addone. It helps streamline the process of transitioning to other DCC tools. I'm satisfied with it.

  This has a lot of potential. It has a way to go to become a viable tool for material painting. It can get there with time with a lot of user feedback. I was really hoping to ditch Substance Painter, but not yet.

  The overall interface is great and organized well. There might be some things to work out with some of the icons and the transition from going to the shader/ smart material editor, but it can be polished in time. I also like that there is a basic library of materials as well. I also have PBR Painter and setting up a library for that addon has been not as convenient. I also like the baker setup, feels intuitive.

  The documentation is very sparse and outdated. The tutorials are not in depth enough for. From the Youtube videos, there are spots where it fast forward/skim over how to make what seems to be basic steps for the developer, but not for someone like me.

  While there is a some materials to start out with, some of the smart materials are pretty limited in their customization. It would be easier to start out with any base material like a metal and make a stylized version of it or even something completely unrelated to a metal.

  And also I am having a hard time making these materials work properly. For while I was trying to change the color of a wood material with no apparent changes. From what I have found also, you can't use outside materials with this, which is a bummer.

  Also I feel that this addon works best with hard surface objects. I tried using this on a tree that I previously made and it has been a struggle to get it to look even decent. Also there are no smart materials to support most organics surfaces.

  I also wish there were some kind of pop up description of what each parameter does. I think that could help with the learning curve. There is a lot of guess work and experimentation.

  Also I feel that this addon works best with hard surface objects. I tried using this on a tree that I previously made and it has been a struggle to get it to look even decent. Also there are no smart materials to support most organics surfaces.

  With all this said, I really believe this could be something great. This hasn't been around too long. There seems to be constant updates which is a great sign. I am sure this can be one of the best painting addons with more iterations. I will definitely join the Discord to give feedback and just track the progress of this.
