HDRi for your next photorealistic rendering!

Are you looking for more realistic lighting for your renderings? Or a faster lighting setup? Then you should use an HDRi!

I like to create HDRIs. I like to think that a photograph of that type can convey natural, realistic light to a virtual environment and 3D objects. That's a great thing! I also like to travel around Italy, my country, and shoot HDRIs in beautiful, little-known places.

This HDRi was shot in Italy and is perfect for your photorealistic renderings!

Description

HDRIs are used as image-based lighting in your renderings.

This HDRi is unclipped, so it will produce an extremely realistic lighting.

Unclipped

It's important to consider whether an hdri is unclipped or not. Being unclipped means that the entire brightness range is captured, including the brightest part of the sun. This ensures that the light is extremely realistic. Contrary, if a hdri is clipped (or clamped) it will produce unrealistic and contrastless light.

Rendering Example

In this rendering only HDRi is used as a light source.
